AI credits (one-time)

When your plan allowance runs out, credits let you keep building and editing. Credits are valid for 1 year from purchase and the oldest are used first. Unused credits within 7 days of purchase can be refunded. Credits can't be cashed out, withdrawn or transferred.

Common questions

What uses my allowance?
Only AI work — building a new site or editing one through chat. Visitors viewing your live site or sending bookings, orders and inquiries never use it.
Why are site counts a range?
Sites with more pages and sections use more AI from the same allowance, so you can build several small sites or fewer large ones.
What happens when I run out?
Only new builds and AI edits pause. Your live sites, bookings, orders and admin screen keep working. The allowance refills every 30 days.
Do bookings, inquiries or texts cost extra?
Bookings, orders, inquiries, the admin screen and owner phone alerts are included in the free plan at no extra cost. Texts to customers open your phone's messaging app with the message filled in, so there's nothing beyond your carrier's charges (automatic sending isn't available yet).
What does using my own domain cost?
Connecting a domain is part of Pro. You buy the domain itself from a domain registrar, separately from Shopen.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro until the paid period ends, then move to the free plan. Your published sites, bookings and orders, and connected domains stay as they are. New sites follow the free limit (1) — republishing a site you already published is fine — you can't connect new domains, and republished sites show a small "made with Shopen" badge.
